Before joining FP Transitions, Steven's career journey spanned the tech and skateboarding industries. He served as Warehouse Manager and West Coast Lead for Original Skateboards, where his passion for longboarding and systems design allowed it to become the top-rated skate shop in Oregon. Additionally, he was involved with VR Perspectives, a tech startup using virtual reality for diversity equity and inclusion training for fortune 200 companies.
Born in Southern California, Steven spent nearly a decade of his childhood in Northern Thailand before relocating to Portland in 2012 to pursue higher education. He holds degrees in Marketing and Global Business from George Fox University and also studied Illustration at the Pacific Northwest College of Art.
An active member of the skateboarding community, Steven is particularly passionate about freestyle longboarding. He even organizes Portland’s largest freestyle longboarding event each year. When not skating, Steven enjoys playing bass and honing his cooking skills—he has recently ventured into smoking meat. With a personal goal to visit as many countries as his age, he is currently one country behind but eager to catch up.
