Lance is an M&A Consultant at FP Transitions, where he helps guide clients through the complexities of mergers and acquisitions, ensuring seamless transitions before, during, and after a transaction.

With a background in M&A advisory and restructuring, Lance brings deep technical expertise and a solutions-oriented mindset to every engagement.

Before joining FP Transitions, Lance spent two years at PwC as an M&A Associate in the Accounting Advisory Group, followed by four years in restructuring and bankruptcy consulting—two at a mid-market firm and two at Alvarez & Marsal. One of the standout moments in his career was working on the FTX bankruptcy, but he remains most excited about the opportunities ahead.

Originally from Austin, Texas, Lance moved to Oregon in the summer of 2023 with his wife for her surgical residency at OHSU. He earned his undergraduate degree in accounting with a minor in economics from Texas A&M University, where he also completed his master’s in finance. A licensed CPA, he’s always looking for ways to expand his technical skill set and make a tangible impact in his role.

Outside of work, Lance is an avid college sports fan and loves anything outdoors—whether it’s skiing, rowing, hiking, or scuba diving. He has explored dive sites around the world, from the Grand Cayman and Maldives to the Florida Keys and Costa Rica. A former rugby player, he was invited to train in New Zealand after high school—an opportunity he still thinks about. His biggest adventure yet? He and his wife are expecting their first child in late May.
