Joining FP Transitions was a natural fit for Paula, drawn by the company's exceptional team culture and shared values. As a Business Development Associate working with Scott Leak and team, she looks forward to engaging with her colleagues in her first in-office role since 2019.
Paula is a native of the Pacific Northwest, though she has lived in nine different states. Her educational journey reflects her diverse interests, including early childhood education, pre-law, project management, artificial intelligence, and business administration.
Paula is a dynamic individual with a passion for community service and artistic expression. Her commitment to youth outreach is evident in her active involvement in various volunteer programs. As a published author, Paula has contributed to the literary world with her books, poems, and short stories. Her involvement with local theaters and playhouses showcases her commitment to the arts, with recent performances including The Nutcracker in 2022.
In addition to her professional accomplishments, Paula owns a valuable piece of art, traces her heritage to Pisa, Italy, once rode Greyhound from Atlanta to Charlotte, had dinner with Bob Dylan and his crew, and at one point had over 10,000 boxes of Girl Scout cookies in her living room. She also embraced the challenge of learning how to snowboard at the age of 45.
Outside of work, Paula is a proud parent to three accomplished children, a testament to her dedication and nurturing spirit. She has a thirst for travel, having explored the US extensively and visited the UK and New Zealand. Her next adventure? Indulging in the culinary delights of Italy.
