Now a part of the accounting team, Caleb handles the internal budget, accounts payable, and has been promoted to Business Analyst, where he focuses on improving technology to increase efficiencies throughout the office.
Caleb is an Oregon native, born with a love for the Ducks and the Blazers. Growing up surrounded by the natural beauty of the state, he developed a passion for outdoor activities. Whether it’s hiking through Oregon’s scenic trails, paddle boarding on its pristine waters, or playing competitive sports, Caleb thrives on staying active. Coming from a large family with five siblings and numerous nieces and nephews, his life is always filled with excitement and energy.
Basketball has always been a significant part of Caleb’s life. In high school, his dedication to the sport earned him the honor of being a McDonald’s All-American nominee. This achievement paved the way for a basketball scholarship to Corban University, where he and his team became conference champions. Caleb's love for the game didn’t stop there; he continues to play in competitive men’s leagues across the city and dedicates his time to training and coaching youth basketball players.
After college, Caleb's career took an unexpected turn. He initially pursued a path in healthcare, becoming a phlebotomist with the American Red Cross and earning his EMT license, which allowed him to work with a search and rescue team. These experiences were profoundly rewarding and solidified his commitment to helping others. However, Caleb decided to take a leap of faith and transition to accounting. He is currently working towards a master’s in business and looks forward to all that it will teach him and how it can help FP Transitions.
Caleb joined FP Transitions because he was drawn to the company’s mission of helping people and the sense of community he felt during his interviews. He was impressed by the camaraderie and energy of the team and knew it was the right fit for him. He loves the supportive and family-like atmosphere at FP Transitions, where everyone genuinely cares for one another.
In addition to his professional pursuits, Caleb continues to seek new adventures. He was once offered the chance to play professional basketball overseas, and now one of his future goals is to visit all of the major national parks. Caleb's journey is a testament to his adventurous spirit, his dedication to personal and professional growth, and his unwavering commitment to helping others.
